Leads WaterAid UK’s People function and shapes the global People agenda across its international federation. Responsibilities include organisational strategy, culture, leadership development, succession, recruitment, DEI, safeguarding, employee experience, organisational change, and executive advice. The role manages global and UK People teams, budgets of approximately £6 million, and partnerships with senior leaders, boards, and CEOs. It also supports AI adoption and requires regular international travel.

Leads WaterAid Uganda’s business development, fundraising, donor engagement, and partnership strategy. Responsibilities include developing funding plans, analyzing donor markets, managing pipelines, shaping proposals and pitches, coordinating cross-functional submissions, negotiating contracts and co-financing arrangements, and strengthening organizational fundraising capability. The role supervises a Business Development Officer and works with donors, government, partners, and regional and global teams to secure diversified, sustainable funding.

Coordinates implementation of the Shame to Action project, including partner collaboration, workplan and budget tracking, monitoring, data collection, donor reporting, safeguarding, community accountability, stakeholder engagement, learning, and documentation. The role supports WASH, governance, gender equality, inclusion, and community-based programming across consortium partners and government stakeholders in Uganda.
