Wastequip Benefits Overview

Fabricates steel and metal parts using work orders, blueprints, shears, bending equipment, and press brakes. Positions and clamps materials, adjusts machine settings, lays out cutting and bending lines, operates hoists or cranes, and inspects finished work for dimensional accuracy. Maintains a clean work area and completes required EHS tests and clearances. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and working around noise, vibration, dust, oil, grease, and smoke.

Lead and coach plant teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets using lean principles. Manage financial performance, budgets, inventory, and ERP systems; drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) and coordinate with engineering, sales, and corporate. Support customer delivery and travel to other locations as required.

Develop, design, and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts. Create drawings, bills of materials, budgets, and work instructions. Support installation, testing, and launch of new or revised equipment; analyze processes for cost, quality, and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with operations, suppliers, and cross-functional teams; support welding, painting, and fabrication operations and provide training and operator support.
