Performs inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy vehicles and construction equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Maintains detailed service records and follows safety standards. Requires heavy vehicle mechanics training or equivalent experience, a Class 5 driver’s license, basic tools, and relevant diagnostic experience. Class 3 licensing is an asset. The position is an evening shift role with overtime available.

Supports the District Controller with monthly financial close, financial statement preparation, general ledger reconciliations, forecasting, variance analysis, annual budgeting, capital purchase requests, internal controls, operational reporting, inventory counts, employee training, and special projects.

Supervise daily solid waste collection operations, assign crews, monitor progress, adjust staffing, conduct field audits, and ensure safety, environmental, OSHA, and local regulatory compliance. The role handles customer concerns, leads performance reviews, supports employee development, establishes operational goals, and requires occasional travel to a sister site. Candidates should have transportation, trucking, or logistics experience and obtain a Class B CDL within 90 days.
