Teams at Washington Radiology

Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations, produces accurate images and measurements, assists radiologists with exams and ultrasound-guided biopsies, documents patient and procedure data, explains procedures, monitors patient well-being, and maintains equipment cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Communicates professionally with patients, referring physicians’ offices, radiologists, and center staff while providing compassionate imaging care.

Supports patient flow and front-office clinical operations in a mammography setting. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, chaperoning radiologists, scheduling follow-up exams, obtaining orders, verifying patient information, handling calls, scanning medical documents, tracking pathology results, and maintaining confidentiality. Requires strong communication, organization, judgment, basic computer skills, and preferably healthcare or customer service experience, medical terminology knowledge, and Certified Medical Assistant training.

Provide and oversee CT and x‑ray procedures, ensure patient safety and consent, recognize and respond to contrast reactions, maintain records, assist reception tasks, participate in QA, and promote excellent patient service.
