Build audience journeys, reusable templates (Handlebars), integrations with content and data systems, personalization features, and backend services. Drive reliability, testing, observability, and mentorship while partnering with editorial, product, marketing, and engineering teams.

The Photo Assignment Editor will drive visual storytelling at The Washington Post by assigning and managing impactful photography and visual stories, collaborating closely across the newsroom, and experimenting with new storytelling approaches across various platforms.
