The Controller at Washington Performing Arts is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit regulations while collaborating with the CFO and finance team.

Manage and implement school-based arts education programs (CAP, CIS, ISAR, Misbin, DCPS All-City), oversee logistics, budgets, data collection, partner and teaching artist relationships, and represent the organization at events. Support communications, assessment, Tessitura contact management, and deliver professional development for teaching artists.

Provide front-line patron support (phone, email, in-person), process ticket and subscription orders in Tessitura, staff events, manage and grow group sales, produce sales reports, and contribute to marketing and team initiatives to meet revenue and engagement goals.
