Perform high-quality general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular ultrasound studies; assist radiologists/pathologists during procedures; manage exam orders in the EMR; perform QC, equipment checks, and maintain a safe, sanitary work environment while providing effective patient care and mentoring staff as needed.

Perform diagnostic x-ray and CT imaging per physician/radiologist orders, ensure radiation protection, complete EMR exam orders, perform QC and equipment checks, maintain a safe work environment, and follow hospital and regulatory policies.

Verify patient eligibility, obtain insurance benefits, and process prior authorization requests. Review clinical documentation and codes, communicate with providers and payers, maintain authorization records, and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
