Responsible for full-cycle accounting across multiple entities: lead month-/year-end close, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, ensure ASPE/GAAP compliance, research tax/regulatory requirements for new jurisdictions, manage fixed assets and intercompany transactions, support audits, improve processes and ERP/reporting systems, and provide financial guidance to project teams and senior leadership.

Design and take ownership of structural steel connection solutions, ensuring code compliance, constructability, and fabrication-ready details. Review drawings/specs, coordinate RFIs, collaborate with detailers (Tekla), troubleshoot fabrication and erection issues, balance optimization and schedule, and drive continuous improvement. Senior candidates may lead projects, mentor engineers, stamp work, and manage stakeholder coordination.

Perform general fabrication shop tasks including reading work orders, loading/unloading trailers, sorting materials, cutting/grinding excess metal, housekeeping, and assisting material movement with crane or forklift. Follow safety procedures and complete project-specific assignments as directed.

Support project delivery by managing change notifications, schedule updates in E2P, tracking RFIs and drawings, attending kick-offs and recording minutes, entering purchases, reporting to clients, and coordinating engineering, fabrication and erection changes to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Lead administration and modernization of Walters Group's Microsoft ecosystem and Azure cloud services. Own identity and access management, Microsoft security platforms, tenant governance, hybrid migrations, SQL Server support, and security initiatives (DLP, MFA, conditional access). Provide technical leadership, project delivery, and collaboration across IT, development, and business teams.

Lead all financial and accounting operations for a union steel erection firm: manage job cost tracking, WIP, payroll (union/multi-state), cash flow, budgeting, AIA billing, ASC 606 revenue recognition, KPI reporting, audits, and strategic financial guidance to support profitable project execution.

Perform general fabrication plant labour: read work orders, load/unload trailers, sort materials, remove excess metal with hand tools, assist material movement using crane/forklift, complete assigned project tasks, and maintain plant housekeeping.
