Teams at Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs

Provide leadership and direct care within a therapeutic residential milieu for youth with social-emotional and behavioral needs. Supervise staff and interns, ensure youth basic needs and safety, run programming and activities, assist with onboarding and crisis management, attend treatment team meetings, complete documentation, administer medications after training, and maintain compliance with licensing and agency standards.

Provide case management and clinical services to residential-education students and families: manage a caseload (up to 12), deliver individual and family therapy, complete assessments/treatment plans/IEPs/discharge summaries, consult with staff, coordinate with external agencies (DCF, DMH, LEAs), run groups, attend multidisciplinary meetings, serve on-call, and participate in trainings and professional development.

Provide therapeutic milieu and supervision for children with emotional and behavioral challenges; implement treatment and individual support plans; plan social and recreational programming; participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, documentation, and professional development; ensure safety, licensing standards, and transport children as needed.
