Teams at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center

Provides clinical, operational, and clerical support within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and Patient-Centered Medical Home. Assists with proactive team-based patient care, care management, customer service, documentation, and daily clinical operations. Requires medical terminology, BLS/BCLS certification, communication skills, computer proficiency, and support for point-of-care testing and COVID response activities.

Provides medical nutrition therapy, nutrition assessments, patient-centered education, curriculum development, and program management for public health and disease-management programs. Determines WIC eligibility under Hawaii regulations using the HiWIC MIS system and serves high-risk pediatric and perinatal clients. Collaborates with health personnel, patients, and community groups while completing required Hawaii WIC training.

Provides routine and emergency medical care in a hospital emergency department under physician supervision. Requires completion of an accredited PA or NP program, national certification, two to three years of emergency department experience, PALS and ACLS certifications, Hawaii licensure, and controlled-substance prescribing authority.
