Perform and analyze complex mortgage-related reconciliations (servicing, escrow, investor/custodial activity, loan sales, MSRs, suspense/clearing). Research and resolve differences across systems, maintain audit-ready documentation, support close activities, coordinate with stakeholders, remediate backlogs, and recommend process improvements to strengthen controls and reconciliation efficiency.

Serve as a cross-functional liaison to coordinate and resolve mortgage accounting issues, track open items, support reconciliations and controls, document processes, assist with MSP stabilization and system changes, prepare status reporting, and support audit and governance activities to ensure accurate, timely, and well-controlled mortgage accounting operations.

Provide exceptional in-person and phone member service, identify needs through discovery questions, cross-sell VyStar deposit, credit, insurance and investment solutions, complete account and loan transactions, handle service tasks (notary, wires, disputes), mentor new staff, lead branch initiatives, and maintain compliance and risk awareness while driving member relationships and booked sales.
