Manages relationships with a portfolio of Benefitfocus customers and vendors, ensuring satisfaction, retention, operational success, and value realization. Leads customer meetings, training, open enrollment planning, cross-functional coordination, issue resolution, and vendor management. Develops actionable strategies, anticipates customer needs, removes roadblocks, and aligns Benefitfocus solutions with customer goals. The role is fully remote and requires extensive experience in customer success, account management, or vendor management, preferably within benefits, insurance, SaaS, healthcare, or BPO.

Manages and grows national employee benefits accounts through proactive client service, consultative strategy, renewals, enrollment and marketing initiatives. Leads client and broker meetings, finalist presentations, claims trend discussions, and service model development. Identifies expansion opportunities, mentors colleagues, coordinates internal teams, and delivers strategies supporting profitability, retention, and organizational goals. Extensive travel is required.

Manages client relationships for defined contribution retirement plans, providing strategic guidance on plan design, investments, products, and participant engagement. Leads cross-functional service teams, supports client retention, negotiates contracts, manages implementations, responds to RFIs and RFPs, and identifies cross-selling opportunities. The role requires strong retirement industry expertise, investment knowledge, relationship management, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, along with Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 licenses. Travel is approximately 25–40% nationwide.
