Serves as the senior technical owner of Vaylent’s Epicor ERP environment. Designs and supports Epicor customizations, BPMs, queries, dashboards, integrations, reports, upgrades, testing, and data migrations. Supports digital work instructions, shop-floor workflows, manufacturing integrations, application controls, and CMMC-related audit requirements. The role documents the technical environment, reduces customization debt and external dependency, resolves production issues, and provides technical direction to partners. This is a remote role requiring travel and onsite presence as needed for upgrades, cutovers, and operational support.

Leads engineering support for CNC manufacturing operations, providing shop-floor technical troubleshooting, machining strategy, manufacturability reviews, process planning, tooling and setup guidance, and continuous improvement. Reviews drawings, GD&T, models, CNC programs, equipment, inspection methods, and production routings. Coordinates with machinists, production, quality, planning, and operations while managing engineering priorities for complex aerospace and defense components.

Supports enterprise strategy development, strategic initiatives, cross-functional integration, business performance analysis, executive decision support, and organizational planning. Develops workplans, dashboards, business cases, governance structures, and recommendations; tracks strategic objectives, coordinates stakeholders, manages risks, and improves operating rhythms. The role partners across Finance, Operations, Programs, Business Development, Supply Chain, and Engineering in an aerospace and defense manufacturing environment.
