As a Senior Backend Engineer at Voltage Park, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the entire backend system for our product and internal tools. You will work with modern web frameworks, ORMs, SQL DBs, GraphQL or OpenAPI, and various cloud platforms. You will also deploy tools for monitoring, logging, and error handling. This is a fully remote role, but you must be located in the continental US and available to work PST hours.

Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud management software. Select core technologies and frameworks, architect critical components, collaborate with stakeholders, mentor engineers, drive best practices and innovation, and work with SREs to automate processes and improve efficiency.

Being a Senior Network Engineer at Voltage Park, you will manage the build-out of large-scale compute infrastructure, implement best practices for security and automation, proactively detect network issues, and triage network incidents. You must have comprehensive experience with Internet-scale routing tables, various technologies and protocols, cloud networking technologies, and scripting languages like Python. Bonus points for Linux or BSD system administration experience. You will work in a fully remote role within the United States.
