Supports product costing, inventory valuation, manufacturing reporting, period-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and plant leadership to improve cost visibility, inventory accuracy, margins, and manufacturing performance. Level II owns standard-cost methodology, annual cost rolls, financial modeling, operational reporting, and cross-functional initiatives.

The Business Unit Assistant Controller oversees accounting operations, financial close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, audits, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. The role analyzes business and manufacturing performance, supports ERP and reporting systems, resolves accounting discrepancies, drives process improvements, and partners with leadership on financial decisions. It also supports and develops accounting personnel while occasionally traveling for audits, training, meetings, and company-location support.
