Build scalable and reliable backend services powering Voi’s rider experience and micromobility data-sharing solutions. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver roadmap features, work with large-scale data processing and A/B testing, and contribute to architecture and technology discussions. The role requires maintainable, testable code, cloud infrastructure experience, microservices expertise, strong communication, business awareness, and cross-functional collaboration.

Build and own Voi’s AI platform, including backend services, full-stack features, agentic infrastructure, enterprise search, knowledge systems, and open-weight model access. Improve platform speed, security, reliability, identity, and access control while supporting hundreds of internal users. Partner with technical and non-technical teams to evaluate, build, integrate, and scale AI capabilities, with emphasis on practical delivery, autonomy, product thinking, and avoiding vendor lock-in.

Build and manage relationships with public transport authorities, city administrators, partners, and other stakeholders across the UK. Lead market-entry assessments, tenders, commercial negotiations, and city-level contractual relationships. Own regional P&Ls, analyze market and operational data, improve rider experience and commercial performance, and coordinate cross-functional projects with policy, operations, growth, and product teams.
