Teams at Visit Grand Junction

Seasonal event support role assisting with Downtown Grand Junction BID events. Duties include event setup/takedown, vendor liaison, administering SNAP/Double Up (training provided), customer service, lifting up to 40 lbs, and assisting the Event Coordinator with on-site troubleshooting and pre-event preparations.

Develop and deliver city-wide safety programs and training (OSHA compliance, CPR/First Aid, confined space, forklift, flagger), perform inspections, audits and equipment calibration, prepare reports and recommendations, coordinate safety conferences, and support policy and procedure development to maintain a strong safety culture.

Plans and reviews urban development, zoning, land use, and development proposals; conducts research and analysis; prepares recommendations, ordinances, and reports; presents to boards, commissions, City Council, and stakeholders; and supports comprehensive planning, policy initiatives, and community growth.
