Oversees receiving, material control, inventory control, and receipt processing. Receives and sorts freight, maintains stock levels using Kanban cards, performs inventory counts, coordinates purchasing needs, manages purchase order and accounting receipts, researches invoices, and communicates with vendors about delays or discrepancies. The role requires accurate recordkeeping, problem solving, Excel proficiency, physical material handling, pallet jack use, and schedule flexibility.

Plans and standardizes equipment, manufacturing processes, consumables, and quality controls across optical lab facilities. Manages equipment installations, vendor repairs, maintenance services, and new process implementation. Develops preventative maintenance and cost-reduction programs, trains personnel on machinery and procedures, and supports compliance with performance and quality standards across internal and contract labs.
