Paid summer internship in Kansas City involving insurance industry training, cross-functional projects, agency business support, presentations, networking, and professional development. Interns will gain exposure to insurance operations, business platforms, specialized industry teams, and corporate workflows while developing technical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Build and lead Virtus’s AI engineering and platform foundation. Responsibilities include owning the enterprise data platform relationship, designing APIs and integrations, enabling knowledge management and retrieval systems, developing internal applications and AI solutions, and establishing standards for deployment, security, monitoring, reliability, and governance. The role is hands-on, requiring production coding, cloud architecture, vendor oversight, and executive-level technical guidance.
