Teams at Vidor Health & Rehabilitation Center

Provides non-clinical support to nursing services and residents by making beds, answering call lights, delivering meals, supplying water and ice, assisting with laundry, and maintaining clean, safe areas. Encourages resident participation in activities, documents information, follows dietary and safety procedures, and reports concerns to nursing or management. Requires reliability, clear communication, patience, organization, and compassion.

Provide supervisory nursing coverage for residents: lead nurse aides, administer medications, implement and document care plans, perform treatments, transcribe physician orders, coordinate shift reports, educate staff, maintain infection control and safety, and address staffing shortages.
