Teams at Victoria Police Department

Maintain and query CPIC and related provincial justice databases to support police operations. Process public police information checks and electronic fingerprints, manage PRIME and RMS entries, produce reports for partners, conduct audits and quality assurance, liaise with Crown/Court staff, train staff on CPIC procedures, and troubleshoot CPIC data and policy issues.

Provide administrative support to Patrol and Community Services divisions including building and maintaining master schedules, processing Law Enforcement Notifications (LENS) and court denotifications, tracking overtime and timesheets, transcribing multi-voice audio/video recordings, producing reports and records, training staff on scheduling software, and handling confidential correspondence.

Perform uniform and occasional plain-clothes patrols enforcing criminal, federal, provincial, and municipal laws. Engage with community members, conduct foot and vehicle patrols, traffic/person checks, assist sudden-death investigations, collaborate with VicPD teams to prevent and solve crime, use proportional force per policy, maintain required qualifications, and work 12-hour rotating shifts.
