Designs and implements security controls, establishes architecture standards, evaluates technologies, drives automation, and manages security roadmaps. Partners with Cyber Defense, GRC, Product Security, IT, and Engineering to address technical risk. Provides AI security leadership, develops technical talent, and remains hands-on in solution design, implementation, troubleshooting, and threat modeling.

Leads and matures the company’s cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, audit, and assurance programs. Responsibilities include managing ISO 27001 and CMMC readiness, conducting risk and control assessments, developing policies, reviewing evidence, coordinating remediation, and building AI governance processes. The role partners with Security, IT, Legal, Privacy, Audit, and business teams, communicates risk to leadership, manages compliance tools, and mentors GRC personnel in a hands-on player-coach capacity.

Own fault-management modules end to end, designing and delivering Java and Spring Boot microservices, Kafka-based near-real-time pipelines, and Spark analytics jobs. Responsibilities include distributed-systems design, performance and reliability optimization, AI-assisted development, anomaly-detection integration, production debugging, incident escalation, testing, observability, on-call support, and CI/CD improvements.
