Manages the daily operations of an interdisciplinary hospice team, including supervision, scheduling, staffing, performance management, clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, care planning, quality improvement, and professional development. The role supports recruitment, onboarding, coaching, payroll approvals, EMR processes, patient-care continuity, and relationships with patients, families, providers, vendors, and internal departments.

Maintains hospice patient records and electronic health records, coordinates referrals and admissions, manages physician orders and certifications, supports regulatory compliance, enters and analyzes patient data, assists staff with EMR needs, and participates in audits and quality improvement activities. Provides reception, communications, document management, and customer service coverage as needed.

Receives and routes incoming calls, greets visitors, sends messages and pages, maintains the phone pool calendar, trains backup staff, and provides light administrative support to leadership and departments. Maintains a professional organizational image and pursues ongoing professional development. Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of office experience, hospice care knowledge, typing proficiency, and preferably Microsoft Office skills.
