Design, administer, and optimize PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases for mission-critical VA healthcare applications. Support cloud (AWS/Azure) deployments, backup/recovery, replication, performance tuning, automation (IaC), CI/CD, and collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure secure, scalable database environments.

Manage end-to-end federal proposal efforts: schedule and milestone management, compliance matrices, color team coordination, document production, RFI monitoring/submission, past performance maintenance, and proposal process improvements.

The Senior Backend Engineer will design and develop backend services and APIs, lead implementation efforts, optimize performance, and mentor junior engineers within an Agile framework.
