The Senior Accountant leads accounting and finance activities, including general ledger accounting, GAAP compliance, lease, fixed asset, acquisition, rebate, warranty, and financial reporting. The role oversees reconciliations, audits, internal controls, standard operating procedures, financial-system implementations, and process improvements. It reports to the Controller, Compliance Manager, and leadership team, while managing projects, supporting cross-functional relationships, and traveling periodically as business needs require.

Sell VSI vendor products to poultry customers and approved dealers across an assigned multi-state territory. Prospect new business, manage territory sales, conduct in-person visits and product demonstrations, collaborate with vendor reps, negotiate and resolve customer issues, and document all interactions in HubSpot CRM to meet sales growth goals.

Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, analyze financial performance, support month‑end/year‑end close and audits, maintain reports, provide AR/AP backup, and assist process improvement.
