Teams at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)

Represents transitioning military personnel by preparing, developing, submitting, and reviewing VA pre-discharge benefits claims. Provides claims counseling, researches military and VA regulations, assists with appeals, conducts transition briefings, coordinates with military and VA officials, and maintains case records. The role requires public speaking, customer service, independent judgment, extensive local travel, and regular in-person work at Joint Base Andrews and other military installations.
