Assists with meal preparation, serving, delivery, and cleanup for skilled nursing residents. Ensures meals meet dietary needs and are delivered respectfully and on time. Maintains clean, sanitary, organized kitchen and dining areas while following food safety and infection control standards. Collaborates with dietary and nursing teams to support resident well-being and a welcoming dining experience.

Leads the facility-wide Infection Prevention and Control Program, ensuring compliance with CDC, OSHA, APIC, AHOP, and applicable regulations. Coordinates infection prevention priorities, collaborates with department managers and medical directors, educates staff, and serves as a clinical resource and consultant. The role requires an active RN or LPN license, BLS/CPR certification, nursing management and infection prevention experience, and formal infection prevention certification.

Supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing quality resident care, nursing staff supervision, admissions, care planning, regulatory compliance, staffing coverage, clinical quality initiatives, and department goals. Assumes DON responsibilities when needed, provides emergency on-call coverage, manages change and team development, and collaborates with healthcare professionals in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
