Generates new revenue by selling Vertex transaction tax solutions to enterprise prospects within a defined territory. The role develops go-to-market and account strategies, self-generates pipeline, opens new logos, manages full-cycle sales opportunities, engages Finance, Tax, IT, Procurement, and executive stakeholders, and uses value-based selling to close complex SaaS deals. It also requires forecasting, negotiation, executive communication, strategic relationship building, and strong knowledge of enterprise software and tax technology.

Supports troubleshooting and resolution of complex client technical issues across enterprise applications, databases, APIs, web services, and cloud environments. Provides customer-facing assistance during implementation and ongoing support, documents solutions, contributes to knowledge bases, collaborates with internal teams, and participates in training, projects, and on-call rotations.
