Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to design and deliver small-to-medium water and wastewater upgrade projects. Support design development from concept to construction, prepare technical and H&S documentation, manage sub-consultants and subcontractors, oversee procurement, installation, testing and commissioning, and ensure projects meet budget, schedule and contractual requirements.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer responsible for detailed electrical and instrumentation designs for water/wastewater plants, producing technical submissions, panel and distribution designs (MCC, LCP, MDB), automation network architecture, cable/IO/power schedules, FAT documentation, and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring compliance with ESB requirements and Irish/European/IEC/WIMES standards.

Travel assigned regional routes to collect water meter reads (manual, walk-by, drive-by, some AMR). Enter data on handhelds/tablets, record issues with photos and GPS, meet read targets and KPIs, report maintenance or access problems, follow safety procedures and use provided equipment for boundary boxes and bulk meter reads.
