The Actuarial Manager prepares recurring financial reports, evaluates financial models against actual results, streamlines financial data, and supports technology and corporate initiatives. The role partners with Finance, Risk, Accounting, and other stakeholders on analytics, projections, regulatory requests, and process improvements. Responsibilities also include leading, coaching, and developing team members while communicating complex actuarial and financial concepts effectively.

Leads actuarial analysis supporting in-force management, new business opportunities, capital and earnings projections, variable annuity reserving, regulatory research, and process improvements. The role evaluates deals, assumptions, investments, hedging, modeling, and business metrics while collaborating across Finance, Risk, Investments, IT, and Corporate Development. It presents insights to senior leadership and investors, manages initiatives, communicates complex concepts, and mentors junior staff.

Analyze policyholder experience data and develop mortality and behavioral assumptions for variable annuity products. Monitor trends, validate studies, recommend updates, prepare management presentations and memorandums, and collaborate with modeling, IT, finance, auditors, regulators, and vendors. Support process improvements, controls, documentation, model implementation, transformation projects, reporting, and transaction-related analyses.
