Lead the full firmware lifecycle from requirements through production for embedded EV systems. Design and optimize C/C++ firmware from driver to application layers, develop device drivers, integrate software with hardware, debug using low-level tools, and lead validation and verification. Establish automotive development processes, conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure modular, testable, reliable code and documentation.

Validate and debug vehicle IoT hardware, including board bring-up, power rails, peripherals, connectivity, CAN communication, and integration with BMS and charging systems. The role involves designing DVP/DVT plans, conducting lab testing, performing root-cause analysis, supporting schematic and component reviews, validating antenna and server connectivity, documenting results, and assisting with EMI/EMC pre-compliance and field integration.

Source and qualify suppliers for mechanical parts, wire harnesses, metal castings, and related commodities. Negotiate pricing and contract terms, conduct zero-based costing, manage purchase orders, optimize supply chains, monitor supplier quality and performance, perform audits, and implement corrective actions. The role also addresses supply disruptions, reduces costs, and ensures compliance with company and quality standards.
