Lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity sponsors and corporate acquirers. Apply industry expertise to assess business performance, risks, synergies, and value-creation opportunities; contribute to financial, operational, commercial, IT, tax, legal, or environmental workstreams; present findings to executives and investors; and support post-close integration, 100-day planning, and business-system implementation.

Evaluates target-company IT, OT, applications, cybersecurity, licenses, regulatory compliance, technical debt, and integration risks during M&A due diligence. Estimates carve-out costs, capex, and Day 1 readiness requirements, then leads post-close systems integration, cybersecurity remediation, and smart-factory transformation. The role requires substantial IT or cybersecurity leadership experience, manufacturing systems knowledge, M&A or carve-out experience, and the ability to translate technical risks into financial and deal recommendations.

Conduct financial due diligence on target companies by analyzing quality of earnings, cash flow, working capital, debt, liabilities, accounting accuracy, and projections. Support valuation, purchase agreements, and lender packages, then lead post-merger finance integration, including cash forecasting, KPI reporting, and exit-ready financial operations. The role offers an operating partner pathway toward interim CFO or finance leadership responsibilities.
