Designs transformers from specification review through production, including electrical and mechanical drawings, calculations, schematics, customer submittals, testing, and bills of materials. Provides technical support during manufacturing, resolves customer issues, assists with quotations and purchasing, inspects production, and coordinates design revisions and new product development activities.

Supports quality assurance systems through document control, internal audits, CAPA verification, supplier evaluations, DHR and manufacturing record reviews, equipment calibration, regulatory compliance, and ISO 9001 activities. Maintains quality documentation, metrics, procedures, master device records, and equipment listings. Assists with investigations, nonconforming product dispositions, regulatory audits, and special quality projects across office and factory-floor environments.

Provides hands-on technical support for transformer manufacturing, resolving production issues and improving safety, quality, delivery, cost, throughput, and efficiency. Develops manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process controls; performs root-cause analysis and corrective actions; supports quality audits, new product introductions, process validation, and engineering change implementation. Uses manufacturing data, continuous improvement methods, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and sustain results.

Lead the design and development of magnetic components and transformers from concept through production. Create CAD designs, schematics, and control box layouts; perform engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies; review drawings and specifications; collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams; guide junior engineers; support prototyping and testing; and ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.

Lead shift quality activities in an ETO manufacturing environment: supervise QA auditors, coordinate inspections, manage nonconformance containment, ensure product/process conformance to drawings and QMS, drive continuous improvement, and support audit readiness and process compliance.

Lead manufacturing quality activities and maintain the QMS for custom oil-filled distribution transformers. Develop inspection/test plans, ensure compliance with drawings and standards, manage nonconformances, lead root cause and CAPA, support inspections/FATs, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers.
