Leads manufacturing process development and continuous improvement for large-format steel products and medical device components. Responsibilities include lean process implementation, root cause analysis, tooling and fixture development, CAPA management, validation, documentation, manufacturability reviews, quoting, project execution, and new product launches. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with customers, suppliers, machinists, programmers, and internal development teams while improving quality, delivery, cost, safety, and morale.

Owns engineering estimating for precision metal manufacturing opportunities. Reviews quote packages, assesses manufacturability and site fit, develops cost and pricing recommendations, evaluates processes, equipment, tooling, automation, and outside services, and identifies DFM improvements. Partners with engineering, operations, commercial, supply chain, suppliers, and customers to deliver accurate proposals. Requires technical manufacturing expertise, strong communication, GD&T knowledge, Excel proficiency, and familiarity with ISO and FDA requirements.

Leads new product introduction programs from quoting through production transition, coordinating engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, safety, suppliers, and customers. Manages schedules, budgets, risks, resources, launch criteria, manufacturing readiness, first articles, process documentation, and production ramps. Provides hands-on manufacturing engineering support involving DFM, routings, work instructions, tooling, and process troubleshooting. Also leads site growth initiatives such as equipment installations, capacity expansions, facility improvements, capital projects, and multi-site programs.
