Design, program, and commission PLC- and industrial PC-based automation and sortation systems. Develop control documentation, integrate with mechanical/electrical teams, lead site commissioning, train staff, troubleshoot, and support continuous improvement while ensuring safety compliance.

The Sales Layout Engineer designs technical layouts for sorting systems, collaborates with sales teams, and ensures project strategies are met while managing multiple projects.

Configure and commission Vanderlande FSC-based loop sorter systems onsite: perform PLC (Siemens S7) and safety commissioning, I/O checks, frequency drive parameterization, industrial network interfacing (Profinet/AS‑I/Industrial Ethernet), integrate peripherals (scanners, motors, sensors), troubleshoot and test subsystems, execute site acceptance tests, and provide initial operational support during stand-by before handover to service.
