Maintains, repairs, examines, and constructs shaft and station infrastructure in an underground mining environment. Performs equipment and safety checks, maintains components, plans work orders, allocates resources, conducts shaft installation and construction, and supports underground blasting-related processes. Requires shaft timberman, onsetter, and blasting competencies, underground mining experience, safety knowledge, administrative skills, and readiness for shifts, standby duties, call-outs, and overtime.

Responsible for month-end accounting, including standard journals, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting. Supports preparation of consolidated financial statements for Valterra Platinum and standalone statements for subsidiaries. Engages with external auditors and internal stakeholders. The role requires applying IFRS, analyzing financial results, processing financial transactions, and using advanced Excel skills. SAP and Wdesk experience are advantageous.

Maintains People and Organisation systems, processes, and employee data at a mining operation. Manages the employee lifecycle, onboarding, movements, offboarding, attendance, disciplinary and grievance processes, labour relations, reporting, workforce planning, and compliance. Coordinates with P&O stakeholders, ensures accurate system administration, identifies process issues, supports safety and production meetings, and promotes fair application of workplace policies and regulations.
