Interview technical stakeholders, produce reports, launches, case studies, explainers, and analyses, while developing editorial strategy and ghostwriting for leadership. The role requires strong technical literacy, editorial judgment, rapid publishing ability, and in-person work in San Francisco.

Create graphics, videos, data visualizations, social content, email assets, merchandise, and event branding. Translate complex data and long-form content into accessible visual stories, develop brand identity, maintain a marketing asset library, and rapidly test and refine creative variants based on engagement and conversion results. Collaborate closely with marketing and engineering while managing a fast-paced, campaign-driven workflow.

Own the full enterprise sales cycle for Vals Smith, including outbound prospecting, discovery, technical evaluations, negotiations, closing, and expansion. Build the go-to-market playbook, define the ideal customer profile, develop qualification and outbound processes, and optimize packaging and objection handling. Partner with founders, product, and engineering teams on evaluations and POCs while translating complex AI technology into business value for enterprise decision-makers.

Evaluate and benchmark new LLM releases across legal, tax, coding, finance and other tasks. Analyze failure modes, maintain model integrations and benchmarking infrastructure, collaborate with research and communications teams, and publish leaderboard results used by startups, enterprises, and research labs.

Lead and set research direction for LLM evaluation methodologies and benchmarks, oversee research portfolio, publish influential work, recruit and grow a research team, and collaborate with enterprise customers and lab partners to build robust, deployment-focused evaluation paradigms.
