Leads weekend-night production operations on the shop floor, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Coaches and develops employees, enforces PPE and company policies, manages production standards, conducts quality checks and process audits, supports root-cause analysis and continuous improvement, coordinates equipment maintenance, and assists with staffing and cross-training. The role requires strong leadership, blueprint interpretation, manufacturing knowledge, computer proficiency, and the ability to work fully on-site in a physically demanding production environment.

Mechanical Engineering Intern supporting design and development projects within Valmont’s Global Agriculture division. Responsibilities include modifying existing products, contributing to new product designs, participating in design reviews, coordinating laboratory and field testing, supporting manufacturability and cost reduction efforts, and providing technical support. The role is onsite in Valley, Nebraska, includes professional development activities, and may require up to 10% domestic travel.

Manages site environmental, health, and safety programs, including risk assessments, incident investigations, regulatory compliance, environmental permits, waste storage, training, inspections, and safety committee engagement. Serves as the site EHS information-system expert, tracks incidents and hazards, develops annual objectives, coordinates corrective actions, and acts as the initial contact for environmental and safety regulators.
