Provides comprehensive primary and preventive family medicine care to patients across the lifespan in rural southern Colorado. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, documenting in the EHR, coordinating referrals, supervising advanced practice providers, participating in quality initiatives, precepting learners, and supporting hospital, nursing home, and after-hours care as assigned.

Coordinate patient referrals and diagnostic orders, obtain payer pre-authorizations, schedule appointments, track referral status and documentation in the EHR, assist patients with barriers, and provide customer service to patients and healthcare partners.

Lead and oversee organization-wide revenue cycle strategy and operations, including billing, coding, claims, collections, denial reduction, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with FQHC, HRSA, Medicare/Medicaid, and payer rules; optimize NextGen EHR and practice management systems; manage credentialing and payer relationships; develop dashboards and KPIs; lead and train multi-site revenue cycle teams to improve reimbursement and operational performance.
