Teams at Validus Risk Management

Own end-to-end trade lifecycle operations across FX, derivatives, commodities, and futures. Manage trade capture, settlement, reconciliations, reporting, counterparty onboarding, treasury support, client financial reviews, and LEI renewals. Improve and automate processes using advanced Excel, data analysis, and potentially Python or Alteryx. Coach junior staff, resolve escalated issues, strengthen controls, and partner with senior management on operational risk, governance, and process redesign.

Drives North American business development by originating new revenue opportunities, arranging prospect meetings, managing deals from pitch through conclusion, and supporting early-stage client relationships. Collaborates with lead generation, marketing, advisory, capital markets, technology, and client coverage teams. Contributes to growth strategy, sales process improvements, service delivery, and innovation. Requires experience in FX hedging and execution, exposure to private capital fund managers, and a proven record of business development and revenue generation.

Maintain financial records, ledgers, invoices, payments, credit cards, reconciliations, and asset registers. Support month-end and year-end close, VAT and regulatory returns, payroll processing, audits, accounts payable and receivable, and compliance with FCA rules and internal policies while assisting the Senior Financial Controller.
