Valdes Architecture & Engineering Benefits Overview

Provides broad HR support across benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, performance management, recruiting coordination, employee communications, records, and HR programs. Maintains confidential employee information, supports leadership and employees, coordinates background checks and onboarding, prepares HR documentation, assists with compensation and training initiatives, and contributes to special projects and cyclical HR activities.

Manage multidisciplinary projects from concept through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and contract closeout. Responsibilities include supervising project staff, coordinating scope, schedules, budgets, estimates, invoices, and client reporting across potentially concurrent projects. The role requires onsite client work, travel to out-of-town locations, tight-deadline management, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Provides senior technical leadership for complex mechanical engineering projects across infrastructure, building systems, industrial, utility, power, and life sciences markets. Leads design from concept through commissioning, establishes technical direction, reviews engineering deliverables, resolves complex issues, supports construction and field activities, and ensures quality and code compliance. Mentors engineers, advises clients, contributes to proposals and business development, and serves as Engineer of Record when appropriate.
