Design, build, and operate secure, accessible, high-performance web and native mobile interfaces for a zero-trust platform. Own frontend architecture, APIs, state management, offline synchronization, encrypted storage, authentication, testing, deployment, observability, and performance optimization. Collaborate with product, design, backend, and security teams to translate complex mission-critical workflows into resilient user experiences across React/TypeScript, iOS, and Android.

As a Software Engineer, you will design, build, and operate backend services in Go, develop microservices and APIs, and manage deployment workflows using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.

Deploys, monitors, and operates production LLM applications and agentic AI platforms in Kubernetes environments. Responsibilities include automating containerized deployments, managing CI/CD and infrastructure, supporting agent workflows, resolving application and infrastructure issues, building AI evaluation and observability frameworks, monitoring data pipelines, and optimizing GPU/CPU resources, autoscaling, latency, throughput, and cloud costs.

Design and build data foundations using Python, SQL, NoSQL, graph databases, and knowledge graphs. Define ontologies, create ingestion and transformation pipelines, resolve entities, maintain provenance, design schemas, develop queries, enforce data validation, and manage model evolution, migrations, backfills, and recovery across heterogeneous data sources.

Own the reliability of production data services and processing workloads across secure customer environments. Build CI/CD and GitOps workflows, orchestration tooling, monitoring, alerting, recovery procedures, and operational automation. Troubleshoot Kubernetes, Linux, networking, storage, databases, and production incidents while improving runbooks and ensuring secure integration with identity, secrets, and network controls.

Lead Valarian’s defence business development strategy across government, primes, integrators, and end users. Responsibilities include account mapping, pipeline generation, bid and proposal development, capture management, stakeholder engagement, assurance and compliance coordination, audit and certification management, and defence-focused go-to-market planning. The role partners with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance, establishes sales processes and metrics, and builds a high-performing defence business development team.

Lead Valarian’s brand and product design strategy across its AI security platform, digital presence, collateral, and marketing materials. Build scalable design systems, conduct user research, simplify complex security workflows into intuitive interfaces, create data visualizations, maintain accessibility standards, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, BD, and leadership. The role is hands-on and includes developing design frameworks, presenting design decisions, and potentially mentoring or hiring junior designers.

Lead customer deployments of ACRA across cloud, on-premise, and customer-managed environments. Responsibilities include infrastructure readiness, Kubernetes installation and upgrades, troubleshooting Linux and networking issues, operational validation, customer communication, documentation, training, and post-go-live support. The role also improves automated installation and upgrade workflows, collaborates with engineering on product issues, and manages deployment ownership from discovery through handover.

Build and secure Valarian’s Acra platform infrastructure, focusing on observability, high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, backups, incident response, scalability, and continuous deployment. Partner with product engineering to establish reliability and security standards. The role requires securing Kubernetes environments, networking, service meshes, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, runtime security, and cloud platforms while collaborating with auditors, penetration testers, and security vendors.

Lead Valarian’s end-to-end information security strategy across cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, applications, and internal tooling. The role owns security architecture, IAM, zero-trust, risk and vulnerability management, incident response, policies, audits, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance, security metrics, awareness training, and team development. This hands-on leadership position partners with Engineering, Product, Legal, and company leadership to reduce risk while enabling business growth.

Deploys and integrates Valarian’s secure Kubernetes platform into customer environments. Builds Go microservices, APIs, CRDs, React components, Helm charts, and event-driven workloads. Partners with customers to translate security and operational requirements into technical solutions, collaborates with infrastructure and AI specialists, and feeds recurring integration patterns back into core platform development.

Own the platform security and trust roadmap for ACRA, translating security findings, compliance requirements, and technical needs into product requirements. Prioritize vulnerability remediation, manage external penetration tests and technical dependencies, coordinate vendors and contractors, and balance feature delivery with security, cost, and risk. Track remediation, compliance, SLA, and delivery metrics while partnering closely with engineering leadership to improve platform security, auditability, and enterprise readiness.
