Ensures the safety of passengers, crew, and vessel operations aboard a cruise ship. Leads safety training, emergency drills, risk assessments, inspections, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance. Maintains lifesaving and firefighting equipment, muster lists, documentation, and safety procedures. Supervises assigned crew during mooring, tender, and emergency operations, supports inspections, and advises the Master and Staff Captain on safety issues.

Maintains safe navigational watches aboard a cruise vessel at sea, anchor, and in port. Supervises bridge-watch personnel, monitors navigation and safety equipment, manages communications and logs, conducts drills, oversees mooring and tender operations, and ensures compliance with maritime regulations. The officer also supports safety training, crew management, emergency procedures, chart maintenance, ECDIS planning, and vessel seaworthiness while operating in Polar waters.

The Third Officer maintains safe navigational watches on a cruise vessel at sea, anchor, and port. Responsibilities include navigation, bridge equipment monitoring, emergency and safety procedures, chart and ECDIS maintenance, GMDSS communications, mooring and tender operations, regulatory compliance, logkeeping, crew supervision, and support for safety and navigation officers. The role requires prior Third Officer experience, Polar waters experience, valid maritime certifications, strong English, physical fitness, and the ability to work irregular schedules under pressure.
