Teams at UVA Community Health

Provide safety and security at UVA Community Health facilities: perform patrols and security checks, control patient/visitor and vehicular traffic, respond to incidents, enforce laws and facility policies, operate patrol vehicles, complete reports and radio/telephone communications, maintain required certifications and training, and perform physical tasks including lifting and use of safety equipment.

Provides patient care and support under RN supervision including clerical tasks, phlelebotomy, room turnover, stocking supplies, infection control, and safety monitoring. Performs duties within scope, documents patient information, and may travel between facilities or be on call as directed.

Performs diagnostic CT scans by preparing patients, operating CT equipment, following imaging protocols and quality control, ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining sterile fields and documentation, and supporting physicians. Must follow compliance and teamwork practices; may require on-call duties and travel between facilities.
