Leads the Power Applications team in developing, productionizing, deploying, and maintaining power control and orchestration software. The Software Engineer will design and implement edge software for IoT devices, focusing on machine learning and high-performance systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining CI/CD processes.

Lead architecture and development of the Karman Digital Environment simulation platform to enable simulation-driven development and validation across sub-millisecond control and system-level orchestration. Define time synchronization, signal routing, deterministic replay, performance envelopes, platform APIs, and data contracts. Build and lead a cross-disciplinary engineering team, collaborate with algorithms, QA, product, hardware, and GTM, and drive platform optimization and verification for production deployments.

Lead design, build, and operation of off-device platform infrastructure across cloud and on-premise. Manage Kubernetes container deployments, AWS architecture, Terraform IaC, observability, CI/CD, incident response, capacity planning, and SOC2 compliance. Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive automation and scalability for ML and data workloads.

Serve as the technical bridge between Karman and customer hardware: design and validate hardware integration layers, develop and debug embedded firmware and FPGA RTL, lead customer technical engagements, produce integration artifacts and bring-up documentation, manage end-to-end execution from POC through deployment, and build repeatable processes to scale application engineering.

Lead in-house talent acquisition: run full-lifecycle recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, build TA infrastructure (sourcing, ATS, interview processes), partner with senior leaders on hiring strategy, headcount planning, job architecture, HR tech selection, and support learning and development. Prioritize recruiting while scaling People Ops functions.
