Performs pre-admission testing for ambulatory surgery patients, including intake, physical assessments, medical history interviews, EKGs, blood draws, medication administration, patient education, documentation, and perioperative care planning. Coordinates with surgeons, anesthesia teams, physician offices, patients, and support persons to ensure surgical readiness, safe care, discharge planning, and regulatory compliance.
