Teams at Upway

Supports daily inbound, workshop, and shipping operations at an eBike refurbishment center. Responsibilities include maintaining dashboards, analyzing operational KPIs, identifying process improvements, coordinating with logistics partners and European sites, and assisting with shift planning, material orders, and team meetings. The intern owns improvement projects involving workflows, floor space, spare parts, and cross-site operations.

Manage spare-parts inventory for e-bike repairs by recording stock movements, conducting inventories, supplying parts to mechanics, placing orders, contacting suppliers, and tracking deliveries. The role also supports additional operational projects and requires strong organization, teamwork, German and English fluency, bicycle knowledge, and on-site availability in Düsseldorf.

Own a Dutch bicycle region by acquiring, negotiating with, onboarding, and activating independent bike shops and regional chains. Manage partner relationships, drive daily use of Upway’s trade-in platform, purchase excess stock, and help deploy additional services such as pickup, drop-off, maintenance, and B2B sales. The role requires extensive regional travel, strong hunting and negotiation abilities, analytical route planning, native Dutch, professional English, and enthusiasm for bicycles.
