As a Senior Software Engineer at Upvest, you will develop and enhance their Investment API, leveraging modern technologies in a collaborative product team environment.

Design, implement, and oversee Upvest's liquidity risk framework. Lead quantitative modeling, stress testing (ILAAP), and cash flow forecasting. Build risk governance, drive risk tooling projects, mentor juniors, and communicate findings to leadership and BaFin.

Own corporate tax, VAT, payroll tax, and transfer pricing tasks: prepare tax filings, maintain transfer pricing documentation and TCMS, establish internal tax controls, support monthly/annual closings, advise on tax structuring for new entities abroad, and coordinate local tax advisers. Serve as first point of contact for day-to-day tax questions and contribute to cross-functional projects aligning tax with accounting and business goals.
