Oversee global manufacturing quality across UpEnergy facilities by maintaining ISO 9001-aligned QMS processes, managing PPAP, inspections, CAPA, calibration, material audits, and quality KPIs. Lead root-cause analysis and continuous improvement using Lean or Six Sigma, collaborate with engineering and R&D, train in-country teams, and ensure products meet performance, safety, durability, and regulatory standards. The role requires frequent travel to manufacturing facilities across Africa, initially focusing on Ghana.

Leads field-based user insight, product troubleshooting, experimentation, cooking demonstrations, training, activations, qualitative research, and end-to-end pilots for clean cooking and water products in Ghana. The role gathers and analyzes customer feedback, manages data collection and quality, translates findings into product improvements, and coordinates with product, carbon, behavioral science, and operations teams.

Develops and owns physical product engineering workstreams from requirements through prototyping, validation, production readiness, deployment, and lifecycle improvement. Responsibilities include CAD and engineering documentation, prototype development, testing, failure analysis, root-cause investigation, OEM and manufacturing coordination, product quality, field validation, and technical R&D. The role integrates mechanical, electrical, and system-level engineering while supporting product pilots and improvements across multi-country operational environments.
