Teams at Upchurch

Oversee multiple complex mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. Manage budgets, schedules, procurement, staffing, contracts, change orders, billing, risk, and client relationships. Lead project teams, coordinate with field and safety leadership, resolve design and logistics issues, and support Lean construction, prefabrication, hiring, and talent development. Projects primarily involve HVAC, plumbing, and process piping in commercial or industrial settings.

Supports construction project teams with administrative tasks, document and record review, project meetings, material and schedule tracking, field and office activities, and construction technology. The intern gains exposure to project management, estimating, safety, field operations, and commercial construction processes while following site safety requirements.

Leads commercial mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. Responsibilities include developing budgets and schedules, managing procurement and subcontractors, monitoring financials and profitability, coordinating field teams, handling submittals, RFIs and change orders, maintaining client relationships, enforcing safety and code compliance, mentoring project staff, and ensuring complete project turnover. The role manages HVAC, plumbing, and process piping scopes and requires travel to jobsites up to 50% of the time.
